On 10 December 2009 Kharkiv Branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) held II Eastern Forum on Corporate Law at the premises of "ILF-Communication" Conference centre. II Eastern Forum on Corporate Law was a continuation of a series of events to discuss the state of current corporate legislation in force, including amendments to the existing Law of Ukraine On Joint Stock Companies. The initiative to hold regional forums on the subject came into being during III Annual Forum on Corporate Law, held on 30 November 2009 in Kiev. The working part of the Forum consisted of two sessions, where experts discussed practical issues of corporate relations management, as well as the results of first six month in force of the Law of Ukraine On Joint Stock Companies together with the draft amendments designed to improve the said act.
