KIEV - 14 July 2010. The UBA Committee on corporate law and Committee on enforcement, bankruptcy and arbitration proceedings held a joint meeting.

The topic of discussion became the interaction of state executive bodies and state registrators with corporate rights holders.

The speakers at the meeting were Vitali Tytych - managing partner of "Vitaly Tytych & Partners” law firm, Chairman of the UBA Committee on enforcement, bankruptcy and arbitration proceedings and Igor Nikolaev - legal adviser to the Commercial Law Center.

The experts outlined the main problems arising in the cooperation with state agents and state registrars. Afterward the meeting shifted to open discussion between the attendees.

Effective solutions to the problems were proposed together with suggestions for improving legislation. As the result of the meeting it was decided to formulate the specific proposals and then forward them to the appropriate authorities.

At the conclusion of the meeting Olena Shcherbina -  Chair of the UBA Committee on corporate law, adviser to “Sayenko Kharenko” law firm - summed up the proposals put forward during the discussion and urged Committee members to prepare a comprehensive written statement on behalf of the Association.
